Brandon G Shull
Brother Brandon Shull grew up in a Christian home in West Texas, and was gloriously saved at the age of 5. At 15, Brother Brandon surrendered to preach and shortly thereafter preached his first sermon.
He was a part the staff at Victory from 2001 until 2007 when God led him to pastor. After three years in the pastorate and seven years in Springfield, Missouri as an assistant pastor, working in a ministry with a heavy emphasis on marriage, Brother Brandon joined the staff at Victory again in 2017 believing that God has led him to this place for this time.
Brother Brandon and his wife Wanda have three children. Jonathan, Katelyn and Christina. Jonathan is serving the Lord in Mesquite, Texas. Katelyn is serving here at Victory and planning to married soon. Christina lives in Odessa, Texas. Brother and Mrs. Shull are both from Texas and have retained that gentle southern charm you would expect.
Brother Brandon's responsibilities include Outreach and Music as well as assisting the pastor where he is needed.
Elijah A Jarvis
Brother Jarvis comes to us from Syracuse, New York. He is the son of David and Regina Jarvis and brother to nine siblings. While attending Buckley Road Baptist Church, he made a profession of faith at the age of five. As the years he realized that he hadn’t fully understood so at the age of thirteen alone in his bedroom he got saved—for real this time.
Brother Elijah graduated from high school in 2013 and went to Heartland Baptist Bible College in Oklahoma City to pursue a one year Bible Certificate. After that first year of college, God called him to the Gospel ministry and he surrendered his life to the Lord at the age of eighteen. He returned to Heartland for the full four year program which he finished in December of 2017. He will receive his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Pastoral Studies with a Minor in Youth Ministries in May of this year.
We are excited to have Brother Elijah join the staff at Victory Baptist Church. He will be working with our outreach and youth ministries. God has given him a heart for young people and he cannot wait to see what God will do for us here.
